As of April 8 2014, Microsoft will be ending their support for Windows XP including all their service packs.

Still a long time away however, I find that as this date grows near, Microsoft will begin to release less and less updates for Windows XP users.

So lets go over some key reasons that you should consider upgrading to Windows 7 in the very near future:

-> Support Coming to an End — support will end on April 8, 2014. This will mark the end of those essential security updates, as well as all other updates in general.

-> Newer Capabilities — PC’s and related technology have been changed substantially within the past 11 years. Using XP instead of an updated Microsoft OS could potentially mean that you are not effectively utilizing such technology advances to your advantage.

-> Overall Lower Operational Costs — Older technology generally costs more to maintain, therefore if you’re holding off on an upgrade because of the cost, you may -actually be costing yourself more in the long run.
